Cat Urinary Tract Infection

One of the most common problems among the domesticated cats is the urinary tract infection (UTI). Feline Urologic Syndrome (FUS) is an over-all term used to describe lower urinary tract disorders, including kidney and bladder stones, urinary blockage, and cystitis. One of the common term that applies to assortment of ailments affecting a cat's lower urinary tract such as cystitis, infection of the urinary tract is known as FLUTD. This infection is more common in those cats that have an improper diet with a low resistance, although it can happen even if these aren't factors for your beloved pet. Urinary tract infections are painful and can be a danger to your pet’s life, so don't treat it lightly.

A cat experiencing a urethral obstruction behaves similarly to any other cat with lower urinary tract disease such as straining to urinate, frequently attempting to urinate, and producing little amount of urine. You must immediately take your beloved cat to your vet if the severity of the disease is quite painful and does not heal immediately.

Tuxedo cats or Bicolour cats are known by various names all round the world. They also come in many varieties and patterns. The Tuxedo cats are available from almost solid color cats with a white throat locket or white tail-tip, through to almost solid white cats with black smudges on the nose or between the ears. Piebald cats or better known as Tuxedo cats and are extremely common and varied in appearances. The white spotting in these types of cats can occur with any color or pattern and varies from minimal white through to almost all white. The smallest amount of white may be no more than a white locket and a small white belly patch, each no more than a few white hairs. However, this pattern does not have any kind of a descriptive name but the term "locket cat" has been suggested by the many cat owners all across the world.

A Tuxedo cat’s temperament is part nature and part nurture. In other words a Tuxedo cat's personality will come from a mixture of the cat's genes as well as how the cat is raised--how much he is handled and in what manner. For instance, all the Tuxedo cats I have ever known my own and the cats of others have had several things in common. One of the significant advantage of the Tuxedo cat is that they tend to be very friendly and active cats.
