A catnip toy is filled with the liquid of the Nepata Cateria, which contains a very pleasant smell of the catnip flowers. When the cats come in contact with the catnip toy then a sudden change of behaviour can be seen into them. It makes the cats excited and playful. It is extremely safe for the cats. They may also start to scratch their heads and body, jump, sniff, shake their heads, etc. This behavior of the cats generally lasts for few minutes after that the cats become normal.
